Who you'd be working with

Hi, I'm Jacob.

I'm an Economics student at the University of Liverpool, going into my second year after finishing my first with a first-class result. Before that I took AAB at A-Level, including an A in both Maths and Economics.

I've taught over 300 one-to-one lessons, and spent a gap year in Australia mentoring maths students at a high school. That's where I learned the thing that shapes how I teach now: most students who think they're bad at maths aren't. They've just got a gap three topics back that nobody stopped to fix.

So that's what I do. Find the gap, close it properly, and keep the pressure gentle enough that confidence grows instead of shrinking. It's the thing parents mention most in their reviews, and it's not an accident.
